Quote of the day

If there’s one thing I’ve learned up here (in Washington) ... the only way to get Congress to balance the budget is to give them no choice, and the only way to keep them out of the cookie jar is to give them no choice. If you don’t tie our hands, we will keep stealing.

I favor a Constitutional amendment limiting federal outlays to no more than 18 percent of GDP (save for declared wars) and that each state get back roughly what it sent to DC in taxes.
Tax Parity and States Rights.
The only people against my amendment are Republicans and Democrats.
