I talk to about 1 or 2 CEOs or CFOs a week and have talked to hundred over the last three years. Some are quite open about this and some are more coy but the feeling is the same: they will not hire in any meaningful way until after the election, and if Obama is re-elected they will not hire unless there is a marked shift in policy.
