I would caution that upturns in activity rarely bring with them the seeds of their own destruction. This could simply be a recovery, aided in part by government policies.Scott Grannishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14028519647946868684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6616959642391988608.post-17702066665241489772009-08-15T15:14:36.302-07:002009-08-15T15:14:36.302-07:00It's stuff like this that will make the econom...It's stuff like this that will make the economy more efficient and stronger in the end. I don't see deflationary pressures, even though some firms are obviously under pressure to cut their prices. Cutting prices to remain competitive is not the same as deflation, which is a decline in all prices. Deflation is caused by a shortage of money, and I see no signs ofScott Grannishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14028519647946868684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6616959642391988608.post-21041379464089733282009-08-14T11:32:01.801-07:002009-08-14T11:32:01.801-07:00My point exactly...

I'm a lawyer in a big firm and we're certainly seeing pressure to reduce our rates and it seems everyone is being forced to reduce prices.
